COVID - 19

Most of our work can be done remotely. For technical work that requires access to equipment, SolonTek Field Engineers are required to follow strict PPE, and CDC guidelines. We wear masks, wash our hands, and clean equipment before and after use. 

What does an engagement with SolonTek look like?

  • SolonTek has a number of Sr. Executives who have various technical and administrative skills and are certified in a number of fields. They also have practical experience in building these solutions out in small teams to global enterprises. 
  • The first thing we are going to do is sit down with you and understand your business. What do you do day to day. How do you accomplish it. Then we want to understand what your security requirements are. If there are regulatory compliances and mapping those to an acceptable standard. 
  • Next we recommend preforming a risk analysis of the entire scope of the project. This will allow us to determine a baseline on where you currently are in terms of resources, inventory (assets, information, accounts that we are protecting), tools that are currently in place, policies and processes, and we will see how that matches up to your business requirements.  
  • From this we will help you build a plan. The plan needs to be actionable so we will break this up over time and determine how many resources we need to dedicate to this. 
  • Our experts help you execute the plan and provide Tier 4 technical support to apply technical controls to administrative controls. Provide incident response and detection support. We work with you, your MSP, internal IT teams, whoever will be in charge of the various components of the program. Because all businesses are unique in resources, inventory, and complexity, we help implement a plan that works to meet your requirements at a budget you can afford. 
  • Then we execute, and SolonTek will measure and keep track of your maturity with Board and Executive level metrics, as well as, quarterly readouts to the teams implementing the plan. 
  • SolonTek will hold engagement meetings will stakeholders on an as needed basis. If a technical control or controls need more effort SolonTek will meet with stakeholders weekly to help implement the controls. 
  • Our partners and industry alliances help you choose the right tools, and deploy them. 
  • We offer user awareness and training. Policy and procedure documentation assistance. 

How do we bill you?

SolonTek bills as we go. We let you know what various prices are during different stages of the engagement. After the first meeting we will provide you what a total cost is as of today with what we gathered. Then we will break each recommended activity up over 4 quarters, so that is every three months. This is ideal for smaller customers or start-ups. That way you only pay for the services you are using at the time. We give you a 90-day net with a 3-year contract. If you want to pay monthly we do not require a contract, we are sure that you will be pleased with our services and continue to hire us month after month. Many of our partners and alliances provide financing.
